(To tile Editor.) Sir,—There seems to be a great c*ea! el mystery about what happened vt the Jast meeting of the .Drivel's' Cnion. One of the items to be discussed was: "Cancellation of registration under the Arbitration Court.” A paragraph in your paper indicated that it was proposed to cancel that registration and join the Federation of Labor. To tins the president replied that the question of joining the Federation was never discussed. He did not, however, throw any light on what was the result of the meeting. It may interest your readers to know that it is not improbable the Union may ultimately join the Federation. As everybody knows, the Federation, which was originated by representatives of the coal-mine r s, wants the transport workers throughout the Dominion at its back.
