ARGENTINE PRODUCE, fp£B P-iiESS ASSOCIATION J WELLINGTON, March 8. The Department- of Tourists and Commerce has received the following cablegram from Buenos Ayres, dated March 6: The following shipments of produce were despatched from Argentine to the United Kingdom ports during February. 1912 ~ (compared with February, 1911) —Frozen beef, quarters 1912, 150,000. 1911, 106.168 ; chilled beef, quarters 164,000 and 129.141. Frozen mutton, carcases 261,000 and 113,606; frozen lamb, carcases 73,000 and 27,236. Butter, 'cwts 12,296 and 1300. DUNEDIN WOOL SALES. 1 [PEE PP.E3S ASSOCIATION.O DUNEDIN, March 8. The fourth and final wool sale of the season was held to-day when 1622 bales were offered. Buyers were present from Home firms, but not from the Continent or America. Local mills and fellmongers were well represented, and secured a good proportion of the offering. The catalogue comprised chiefly stragglers-' wool, odd lots and lots pass-•ed-iu at previous sales. Fleeces sold at about the same rates as at- last- sale, but pieces and locks were a little easier.
