HOOKEY.

MERCANTILE v. CIVIL -SERVICE. In the practice match t-o-day at 3 o’clock the following will represent the Mercantile team against Civil Service: R. Alorse, H. Fraser, R. Pycroft, I. J. Quigley, J. AVinter, D. Fa ram, F. Harding, P. Alc-Conville, \l. G. Oman, AI. Gumming, H. Maynard, Wylie and R. Scarl’e. TE _ RA.U' CLUB. At a- well-attended meeting of the old Y.M.C.A. Hockey Club held last evening it was' -decided to form a new club. Air E. W. Harvey presided. It was. decided that the name of the Club be “The To Rau Hcekev Club.” After the general business had been discussed, the following -officials were elected : —Patron, Rev. F. AY. Chatter t-on; president, Air E. H. Alann; vice-presidents, Messrs E. AY. Harvey, ,T. R. Kirk and P. AA'. Buslmell; captain, Rev. Pine Tamahori; vice-cap-tain, Air R. Grant; lion, seertavy and treasurer, Air T. D. Baker; management and selection committee, Captain, Vice-Captain and hon. Secretary; delegates to P.8.H.A., Messrs E. AY. Harvey and R. Oxenham. The colors were agreed on as- red, black and amber.

Fifteen memobrs were passed ten the Club, and .it was intimated that a- invoice matclf with the City Hc.ckey Club had been arranged for next Thursday.
