AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUBCONCLUDING DAY—SATUE DAY. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ■ AUCKLAND, April 27. The Avondale Jockey Club’s autumn meeting concluded to-day in showery weather. There was a largo attendance, and the going- was fairly heavy. The sum of £17,482 was invested, compared with £9,674 10s last year, making £25,494 for the meeting, as against £21,329 during last year’s two days. Results: Nursery Handicap, of 100 sovs. Six furlongs— A. Hannon’s Semolina by Gluten Mignom (Morris) 6.11, 1; Potoa, 7.7, 2; Lannacost, 8.5, 3; Also started: Tact 9.4, Prince Merriwee 7.12,. Prince King 7.1, Battle Abbey 6.13! Won by a length and a half. Time, Imin 19 2-5 secs. Flying Handicap of 109 sovs., four furlongs. Mr Hall’s Waiorowa;. 7.10, (Deeley) 1; Ben Bells, 7.10, 2; Solitude ‘7.6 3.
