VISIT OF MAJOR CARMICHAEL. Major Carmichael and Adjutant Gunn Avere mot on arrival by the boat on Saturday night by the local Band and marched up to. the Citadel. Yesterday’s meetings Avere exceptionally Avell attended, the Hall being comfortably filled at the night’s meeting. At the morning meeting the Major spoke at length on the brotherhood of man as God intended. The afternoon’s meeting Avas lead by Adjutant Gunn, avlio spoke of tlio incident in the life of. Christ, when ho healed the blind man of his blindness (Luke, 18th chapter), dwelling on the necessity of all tilings beingdone in season. Last night’s seiwico Avas conducted by the Major, Avho spoke from Matthew 11th, 28th to 30th. . ■ . To-night the Major will gn-e a social address dealing solely with various institutions in the Dominion.
