The damage is estimated at £4500, and is covered by insurance. - A number of man-o’-warsmen from the gunboat Gayundah were standing on the roof of an adjoining building assisting the brigade when part of a wall fell on them. Walter Oldham was killed and Alexander (Smith was injured.
