Carron seconded the motion which was caried. A public meeting which had been called by Air G. 0. Donovan, to consider tlio advisability of forming a. Settlors’ Asociation, was well attended on Saturday afternoon. Afr Donovan was elected to the chair and it “was unanimously decided to form such an association. The following officers were elected: President, Mr 0. 0. Donovan; vicepresidents, Messrs T. Quirk and A. Potherb ridge; committee, Alessrs L. Carron. A 7. P- Thomson, Christophers, S. AVilton, Canlton, Anderson, O. Richmond, E. Fisher, Pickard and Twistleton. Air C. C. Ruby was elected lion, secretary and. treasurer. •

It was decided to- hold another meeting on Saturday, June 1, to consider rules, etc. The meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the chair.
