• [PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, June 12. Cabinet lias decided to increase the accommodation for learners at the Ruakura experimental farm. The erection of new P. 0. buildings at Reefton and Roxburgh lias been authorised. , , , A tender has been accepted tor tlie supply of transformers in connection with the Lake Coleridge electiical power scheme. The appointment of Mr John Anderson as inspecting working engmeei for mental hospital and ordinary hospitals has been approved. Air W. AlcLennan has been re-ap-pointed a member of the Wellington Land Board. The appointment of Dr. J. slcNaughtonTChriste as N. Z. representative at the International Congress on gnyaecology and obstetrics in Berlin m September next has been approved. Major Stuckey has been appointed officer in command of the Cadet contingent to visit Canada. The tender of the Dunedin Engineering Company lias been accepted ioi the supply of the pipe line in connection with the Lake Coleridge electric power scheme. . , The tender of an English firm has been accepted for the supply of a travelling * crane in connection with, the Lake Coleridge electric power scheme.
