HON. J. A. MILLAR’S HEALTH.

WILL NOT BE PRESENT AT OPENING OF SESSION.

[PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, June 12. Seeking complete rest as a remedy for the loss of the sight of his right eye, Hon. J. A. Alillar arrived m Auckland yesterday morning, and left for Rotorua to-day. Discussing Ins health yesterday, Air Alillar said his right eye was • almost completely blind, but he was confident that the treatment recommended by his doctor would restore its sight. He bad been ordered to take complete rest, and had already begun that treatment. Air Alillar spoke regretfully of liis inability to be in his place in the House of Representatives at the opening of the session. Asked whether ho would be able to visit AVellington to record his vote on a want-of-confid-ence motion, Air Alillar replied that lie certainly hoped to be able to do so. He would have to follow the advice of Dr. Wolilmann as to whether liis health was good enough to permit him to leave Rotorua. He expected that a division would be taken on July 10, and within the intervening month lie hoped to make good progress, towards recovery. “You may be quite sure,” he added, “that if it is possible I shall be in my place when the House divides-’ ’
