NOTES. ■ .. . , • • ?" ■ Messrs Richardson and Co’s Ruru arrived from Napier yesterday morning and returned after landing three pass- • engers. Messrs Huddart Parker and Co’s Victoria arrived from Auckland at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon and sailed for the South later. The Union S. S. Co’s Navua, which has been delayed in the south owing to heavy weather, arrives from the South this morning, and will be tendered. Among the passengers from Napier arc: Misses Paul, Rees, Muuro, Hogg, Mathews, Holmes, and Geary; Mesdames Ball, McKenzie and child, Speedy, and Bailionse; Capt. Skelly; Messrs Tamboyn, Thorpe, Williams, Stuckey, Howard, Williamson, Ball, Willis,' Gordon, Batt, Barry, Fitzgerald Bock Dyer, Sheridan, Humphreys, Reid, Collinson, Speedy, English Pierrot Co. (9), and 26 steerage. Messrs Richardson and Co’s Koutunui will arrive from Auckland to-day. Cargo for coast ports and Auckland will be taken up to 4 p.m. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo is expected to arrive here early next week. The Union S. S. Co’s Haupiri. which left Wellington on Tuesday evening for Picton, Napier and Gisborne, is expected to arrive on Saturday. She leaves in the afternoon for Auckland via tho bays. , The Union S. S. Co’s Wanaka is due from Napier.to-day. After discharging she loads manure for the Bluff. She proceeds from Gisborne to Auckland and thei] goes to the Bluff . The Union S. S. Co’s Kaitangata is due here from Newcastle to-day with Messrs Richardson and Co's, Ripple arrives from the south to-morrow and sails for Napier in the afternoon.
