PERSONAL NOTES.
Air Aliehael Atullooley, of Tologa Bay, died on Thursday.
The death is announced (says a London cable) of Admiral H. L. Pearson. Air F. Williams, well known in boxing circles, is at present -suffering fiom the effects of a chill.
A Sydney cable states that an open verdict was returned at the inquest on the body of Air Edward Campbell Johnston, which was found in the harbor. Deceased was an engineer, mid was lately a resident of Christchurch. where, it is stated, lie leavea widow and three children. We understand that Mm J. son. of Tiniroto, has disposed of hiproperty to Mr Warner. The residents of Tiniroto have decided to present Air and Airs Patterson with a suitable memento as a token of the esteem in- which they were held by the residents of the district. The function will take place on June 2? in the Tiniroto Public Hall. Word has been received cf the death of .the Right Rev. Alcn-:gner Abern, of Casino. New South YaH - (says a Dannevirke P.A- wire). Deceased- was well-known in New Zealand, being formerly stationed in Nelson, Blenheim, Gisborne and Pukekohe.
