MILITANT STRIKERS.
CONFLICT WTTH SHERIFFS
(United Press Association —Copyright) NEW YORK, June 14. At Perfhamboy, New Jersey, a thousand strikers stormed the American Smelting Co’s plant. Deputy-Sheriffs warned the crowd to desist, but fruitlessly. The sheriffs then opened fire, one striker being killed and three' injured.
