CUSTOMS REVENUE
The revenue received at the Cus■i \s House last week was as follows: —Customs duties £746 15s 7d, light dues 9s 2d, shipping fees 13s 3d sale of oysters £5 12s 9d, other receipts Is 6d; total £753 11s 6d.
HOUSE SALE. Messrs Williams and Kettle offered about fifty horses for sale on Saturday. Spring-cart horses made from £lO to £lO, half draughts £2B, hacks £2 lpa to £ls. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Cov report that there was very little demand for horses on. Saturday. Hacks made about £6 10s, ponies £3 and the hunter Parikanapa brought £ll. LONDON MARKETS. Messrs Dalgety atul Co. have received. the following cabled information from their London house: “Owing tex the strikes the prices for frozen meat are irregular, being about Id lower than last week’s quotations. Sheepskins are quoted as follow: Merino combing gd per 'lb higher ; Merino clothing, Jd per lb higher; crossbred skins, id higher. Tallow: Business is practically suspended on account of the strike. There will be no public sales until further notice.
