The following are the "readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 2 t.m. each day:—
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT. Present indications are for southerly and south-easterly winds, strong to gale, with much colder weather in many parts of the country and snow on the higher levels. The barometer will probably rise fast everywhere scon.
