i An extraordinary case of abnormality was described at Wood Green at an inquest on Mrs Isabella Quin, of Maryland Road, Wood Green. ThA evidence showed that she was 'seized with a fit of coughing, causing ‘hemorrhage and death, while her husband was at business in the City.—Dr W.tes said that on making a postmortem examination ho found that, instead of two lungs deceased had one lung on the left-hand side,, which was so large as to fill the functions of two. Moreover, the heart, instead of being jon the left-hand side, was on the l right. The lung was tuberculous, and ) the st rain of coughing produced the ! rupture of a blood-vessel. —Death was returned as “Due to natural causes.’ In the May issue of “Sound Wave’ appears a pathetic letter from a Southampton reader whose husband was lost on the Titanic. On. the Sunday night before the liner sailed the couple made, for the first time, some phonograph records. For this purpose the wife sang. “Only to See ; her Face Again,” and the husband selected, “True till Death.” The widow writes: — “Considering that I and my three children, the youngest : only six months, will never see his dear face again, you may bo able to form some idea of liow much we prize the reoonl of his voice, that I am now half afraid to put on the machine, as it seems to be a voice from the dead.”
