New Zealand hindquarters 4id, New Zealand forequarters 3Jd. The average price of River Plate chilled is hindquarters 4ld, forequarters 3]d. The butter market is weaker, and has a tendency downwards. Supplies are increasing. Tlie weather continues favorable to the increase of production at home and on the Continent. Choicest New Zealand butter, per cwt is at 113 s, Australian 107 s, Danish 119 s, Siberian 105 s. The cheese market. is a shade weaker. The home make, it is expected, will be large. New Zealand coloi'ed 725, white 71s; Canadian colored 675, white 665; English cheddar, 90s. The hemp market is quiet, but there is moderate business doing. On spot, New Zealand good to fair £22, New Zealand fair £22 10s, fair current Manila £22; forward shinment, New Zeasand good_to fair £22, Now Zealand fair £2O 15s, Manila £22 15s. The output from Manila for the week was 19,000 bales. The wool market is strong. The linseed market is weak and inactive; Bombay, per quarter of 4161b5, 665; River Plate,-'64s; Calcutta, per quarter of 4101hs, 68s. The hops market is slightly weaker, with less demand on account of the fine weather for "the home crop.
