NOTES. The coastal steamer' Breeze arrived yesterday morning, and after discharging, sailed at 9.30 p.m. for Westport direct. . The s.s. Westralia is due from Auckland to-day. Passengers for Gisborne: Misses Waller, Fitzpatrick, Wright, Morse, Mesdames Peacock" and child, Ken near. Gray', Simeon, Wing, Lane, Messrs Reid, Syaek, Aickin, Tye, Keen, McKenzie, Manghan, Edmis, Caiser, Keenan, McLaughlin, Cardack, Wood, Lowndes, Gooder Judd (2), Lane, Bechervaise, Rev. Curran. She- will be tendered on arrival, and at 7 p.m. The s.s. Navua, which brings some 30 tons of salvage gear for the work at the Star of Canada, arrives from the south to-day, and will be tendered at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. The s.s. Kowhai was due to leave Dunedin yesterday for Gisborne via coast poi’ts. The s.s. Squall left Auckland for Gisbonie at 5.30 p.m. yesterday. The SHaw, Savill steamer Kumara arrived- yesterday from Auckland, and is due to leave for Timaru to-night. She was lightered till midnight. TELEGRAPHIC.
