Old Boys, 1.45 Mr. May. —School Boys.— No. 1, Te Hapara y. Kaiti, 9.45 a. m. —Mr. Olsen. No. 1, Convent v. Ma karaka, .11 a-in.—Mr. Burge. No. 2, Gisborne y. Mangapapa. 11 a.in.—Air. Osborne.

THE ASSOCIATION CAME.

■MEETING OF THE POVERTY BAY FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.

The weekly meeting of the P.B.F.A. was held last- night, Air. Johnstone presiding over a fair attendance of delegates. The secretary tendered his resignation on the ground that, his time did not permit- of his continuing with the work.—The resignation was accepted with regret, and a vote of thanks was accorded him. Air. Wilson was appointed to the position. Air. H- J. Grieve offered a trophy to the person collecting the largest amount towards the expenses of the touring team.—The. offer was accepted with thanks. It was decided to postpone the fancy dress match for a week. The secretary was instructed to wire to Wellington, Wanganui and Ralmerston Associations asking what amount they could guarantee towards the expenses of the rep. team for a match on their return from Christchurch. ALr Johnston was elected as manager of the team on tour and Air Mawson as trainer.

A postponement committee consisting of Messrs Hull, AVliiteley and Binnie, was appointed. The draw disclosed that in the junior competition, G.T.A. will meet Y.M.A.C. at the Reserve. Owing to a misunderstanding lastSaturday the junior match did not eventuate, and will be played off at the end of the season.-

A challenge was received from an eleven to play the reps, next Saturday, and tiie teams will .appear in to-morrow’s issue.
