J NKAVS AND NOTES. | NAPIER, June 25. r l he local crack, Paisano, lias been sold to another Gisborne buyer at a price in the region of 600 guineas. i It is also said that Continuance is a- sure starter in the Napier Steeplechase, and that he will be ridden by AV. Young. Yesterday Mr. J. Lucas went round the course with trainer i}. Jones. There are no less than 27 fences to he jumped, but to a bold fencer like Continuance this should not- be against him. : Bonnie Boy is an unlikely starter at the meeting, as is Brown Trout.
