CIVIL SERVICE A. (G) v. WEST END (-5). Civil Service A. met and defeated West End on Saturday at the Reserve by G goals to 5. Civil showed good combination and the way iin w/hion the ball passed from one to another was an eye-opener. West End, although playing with ia few “new chums,” put up a good fight. Olsen and Smal-e bearing the brunt of the Blue attack. The game throughout was of an -even nature, the win-
ning goal just being sliot before the call of time.
MERCANTILE (6) v. CIVIL SERVICE B. (1). Mercantile secured 1 an easy victory over West End by 6 goals to one. Merc’s had matters well in hand all through and were inclined to take things easy towards the finish. When the whistie sounded the scores read: Mercantile 6, Civil Service B. 1.
