GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL. N the Matter of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” ... atnd ‘'The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and the Acts amending the same respectively, the Gisborne Borough Coiincil hereby gives Notice that such Council pro]X)ses to raise a Special Loan of £15,000, for the purposes of Extending the Electric Light and. Power scheme within the Borough of Gisborne. (a) The particular purpose for which the Loan is required is for the Extension of the Electric Light and Power scheme. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £15,000. (c) The proposed security and provision for repayment of tho Loan is an. annually recurring rate of l-6th of a Penary in the Pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the said Borough of Gisborne, to provide interest, together with sinking fund of \ per cent-, in connection with such Loami. The whole of tho Loan is to be repayable 30 years from the date of issue. (d) It is proposed to pay out of the Loan the first year’s interest and the cost of raising the Loan.
