Following were non-starters: Lord Desmond, Novar, Herova, First Move, Rufus, Obi. Out of the straight Forest Prince took command from Yandillu and Flash Jack. Along the back Jolly Boy led Fiddlestring, with Lion handy. At the bridge tlio leading division was: AVingarara, Forest Prince, I Jon and Uxbridge. Into the straight Lion showed the way to AVingarara and Uxbridge. AVingarara led over the last hurdle from Uxbridge. A good race ensued in the length home. The committee of Canterbury Jockey Club under part NA 7 1., rule 9, has allowed the correction of the entry of Captain, Jingle. The telegraphic entry jn the Grand National Hurdles was an error in transmission, and the horse should have been entered in the Grand National Steeplechase.
At Messrs Williams and Kettle’s Horse Bazaar on Saturday Doggerhank was sold to Messrs Austin and Dolman for 35 guineas. Nigel was sold to Mr F. James for 23 guineas, and a filly b>’ Marshal Sou It- —San Cruz was passed in at 52 guineas.
