[UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT] NEW YORK, July 16. Helmann Rosenthal, a noted gambler, who was recently charged by the police with extensive graft operations, was shot dead in the street. It is alleged that he was about to reveal the scandalous conditions in the Police Department with respect to graft. Louis Libby was captured and charged with the crime. A great sensation has been created.
