COMMERCIAL.
The following was the revenue received at the Custom House last week; Customs duties 9708 16s Kiel, beer duty £3B, light dues 5s 10d, shipping fees 18s 9d. other receipts (sale of oysters) £4 18s; total, £752 19s sd.
At Mr. M. Craig’s produce sale on Saturday, the following prices were realised:—Hens Is 7d to 2? l('d, roosters 2s 9d, drakes 2s 3d. eggs 2s 3d <ka, butter Is lb, onions 2d lb. potatoes 12s 6d sack, apples 2d lb, citron melons Bd.
The prices realised on Saturdav at Messrs. Malcolm and Co.’s produce sale were as follows:—Roosters 2s to 2*s 7(1, fowls 23 6d to 3s, ducks and drakes 2s 3d, eggs 2s to 2s 3d. butter lid lb, bacon (side) 8d lb, maize 4s 6(1 bushel, swede turnips 6:s Gd sack, onions 13s '-:ae'k, potatoes 2s Gd ewt. cabbage 2s to 3.s dozen, small vegetables as usual.
LONDON MARKETS
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. are in receipt of the following cable from their London office:—“Market steady for mutton ; market weaker for lamb; inquiry limited for kerf.” LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, July 19. At the wool sales there was a' great selection of Victoria,n and Queensland offered. Prices were firm at recent rates.
