FERRY BOATS IN COLLISSION.
AN AUCKLAND MISHAP
[PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, July 22. During a heavy fog in the harbor this morning the ferry steamers Condor- and Kestrel collided when off the Calliope Dock. The Kestrel struck the Condor a glancing blow on the port how, carrying away portion of the wooden bulwarks with the rail and some of- the iron stanchions. The damage is trifling and concerns only the light woodwork. The. Condor continued her trips unun later in the morning, when she was replaced by the Eagle to allow repairs to be effected.
