GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE. The following are the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 2 fc.m. each day:—
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT.
The barometer has risen everywhere and fair to cloudy weather lias pre dominated, hut renditions have been very unsettled' in the southernmost districts' and on the East Coasts of the South Island. This afternoon the aspect is somewhat threatening about and southward of East Cane. Present indications are for strong south and south-easterly winds with cold and changeable weather squally and showery at times on the East Coast. The barometer will probably rise everywhere.
