FAILS TO RENDER SERVICE
[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] OAMARU. July 22. p p Welsh, a territorial, was fined d 1 and costs for failing to render personal service. He pleaded guilt v and gave the excuse that lie was a jockev and would have to give up his job if he attended drill. The Magistrate held that there was no excuse for not attending camp ana counselled Welsh to arrange tor attendance at parades when absent from Oaniavu.
