The Huddart Parker Co’s Victoria arrives from Auckland this afternoon. She will be tendered on arrival and at 7 p.m. The Union 8. S. Co’s Monowai is a day late in her northward running, and will not arrive here till to-morrow morning. The delay was caused through her having to enter the Lyttelton-Wel-lington Ferry Service in place of the Mararoa. She will be tendered by one launch at 6 a.m.
The Gisborne Harbor Board’s dredger Maui returned from Auckland. The scow Alert arrived from Ngunguru early yesterday morning. She left Ngunguru on Saturday at 10 a.m. arul passed the East Cape on Monday morning at 5 o’clock. Y\ hen off the Cape she. passed the Isabella de Fraine and Coronation, and she arrived before them. She experienced favorable winds and had a good trip down. She has a full load of timber.
The ketch Coronation arrived from Mercury Bay yesterday morning. She left there at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning and encountered fair weather all the wav down the coast. She has 565,000 feet of timber. The Isabella de Fraine arrived from Tauranga yesterday morning. She had a very rough passage, which occupied seventeen days. She bad a full load of timber, but a quantity of the cargo ha I to be jettisoned. The Union S. S. Co’s Squall is expected to arrive from Auckland to-morrow. The Union S. S. Co’s Ivowhai is at present working her way up from. the south. She left Timam' on Monday night for Lyttelton, and is clue here at the end of the week.
Messrs Richardson and Go’s Koutunui sailed for Auckland yesterday morning.
