TWO BATTLESHIPS BADLY DAMAGED
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT] (Received August 11, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 11. During the naval manoeuvres the battleship Nebraska was badly damaged through striking an uncharted reef near the Point Judith light. Tho battleship Connecticut broke her starboard crank shaft, which it will take weeks to repair.
