CERMAN MINE DISASTER. SURVIVORS’ STORIES. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGETJ (Received August 11, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN, August 11. Tlie Kaiser at Bochum visited the hospital. Arany of those rescued were shockingly burned and mutilated. The survivors .state that there was a sudden dull roar and the lower levels were immediately filled with poisonous gases. The minors dropped their tools and ran for the exits, but these were found barred by masses of fallen burning coal presenting a wall of flame. Many retreated as far as possible into the interior and vainly waited rescue. Charred l>odic-s are still being brought to the surface.
