Air Dannovig, the Federal fisheries expert, declares that the public has no chance of Inlying more than a quarter of the fish which should he available because the resources contiguous to the ocean are unexploited-. . He is satisfied that a well-managed trawling steamer could make a profit of £6OOO yearly.
The cost of fish ought not to be more than 4d per pound retail.
