POVERTY BAY RUGBY UNION. TEAMS ECU TRIAL MATCH. In view of the southern tour of the Poverty Bay representative football team a. match between A and B teams will take place at the Victoria Domain on Saturday when Mr W. Howard will select the players to make the trip. Tho representative team will play Hawke’s Bay and probably Manama tu. 'Tho teams are: —• A. team.—Full-back, Stubbs; threequarters, Ruakingi, Car rut hers, R. Somervell; five-eighths. Tate and Murray; half, P. Fromm-; forwards, Wheeler, Douglas, Smith, Squirrell, Armitage, Guthrie, McDonald, Win-. ter; emergencies, Field, Morrell,! Mills, Coleman, O’Neill and Griffiths. B. team: Full-back, H. Skillen; three-quarters, McColl, and Wyllio; live-eighths, W. Smith.-and C. Pollock; half, Clover; forwards, Toe•kcr, White, Davis, Scott, Moana, Prickett, G. Fromm and Aiken; emergencies, Atkinson. Mr Howard selected only those 1 who could go to Napier and if re- j quired to Palmerston North. Those j players who take part in the trial game will he given preference. TARANAKI v. AUCKLAND.
