At the Hunt Club meeting 0.. Thursday last I noticed:

Mesdames C. J. Bennett, C. Thom* as, J. Murphy, and H. Bennett gave a christening party at the Piccadilly tea rooms on "Wednesday afternoon last.

Mrs Sainsbury, sour., is visiting Napier, .and staying at the Masonic }lotol.

Mrs Rowley Murphy returned Bom the South on Wednesday.

Mr. G. Lamont Gurrbs concert on Friday next will provide all lovers of music with an enjoyable evening’s entertainment, and a very large gathering is anticipated.
