Mesdames C. J. Bennett, C. Thom* as, J. Murphy, and H. Bennett gave a christening party at the Piccadilly tea rooms on "Wednesday afternoon last.

Mrs Rowley Murphy returned Bom the South on Wednesday.

Tlie Children’s Ball to be given next Friday afternoon, is setting many small hearts fluttering in joyful anticipation of the good things in. store.

Mr. G. Lamont Gurrbs concert on Friday next will provide all lovers of music with an enjoyable evening’s entertainment, and a very large gathering is anticipated.
