GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE. The following are the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 2 a.m. each day:—

GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST'S REPORT. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Present indications are for a change in the weather conditions. The barometer is falling everywhere, with increasing haze and cloudiness. Rain will follow in many parts of the country in about 24 hours. Easterly and northerly winds will probably prevail and increase in force. There are also indications for a storm area off East Cape affecting the east coast and North Island shortly.
