GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE The following are the readings of the barometer in our. office, taken at 2
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT, [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Present indications are for strong westerly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier and nortlierlies, stroii<r to a gale elsewhere for a westerly storm area now apparently developing on the 'J'asman Sea. Expect- increasing cloudiness with rain following generally, but especially on the west coast in southern districts. The barometer will probably fall everywhere and will be low in the South.
