THE TIMOR REBELLION.
A STRONGHOLD STORMED. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT] LISBON, Aug. 26. - The Governor of Timor, with a small force of infantry and bluejackets, stormed the rebel stronghold, and captured it at the point of the bayonet, after 10 hours’ fighting. The Portuguese losses were insignificant.
