GISBORNE TIMES OFFICE. The following are the readings of the barometer in our office/ taken at 2 a.m. each da.y:—
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST'S REPORT. [rE» press association.] Present indications are for increasing northerly winds, cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain probable generally and heavy on the west coast of the South Island: The barometer will probably fall everywhere, but a rise is due after from 2-1- to 36 hours, when the winds will change to a south-westerly direction.
