ACCIDENT OR MURDER ?
AMERICAN CONSUL KILLED. [INDEPENDENT PRESS CABLE.] WASHINGTON. Aug. 15. Mr Wililam M'Master, the United States vice-Consul at- Cartagena, Colombia, was-shot and killed yesterday. The official despatches did not say whether the Consul was murdered or killed accidentally, but the State Department is having inquiries made.
