CREW'S UNENVIABLE EXPERIENCE. [UNITED PP.ESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT] (Received August 29, 5 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 29. An explosion occurred in the harbor of Santa Barbara (California) aboard the Associated Oil Company’s steamer Kosurenz. 'Die vessel was wrecked and sank. The crew jumped into the water and swam ashore, all escaping.
