TERRIBLE OUTRAGES REPORTED.
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION COPTEIGHT] MEXICO CITY, Sept. 1. The rebel commanders state they will soon take possession of Cananea, a rich mining camp, where there are two thousand Americans. The- -Government troops have been withdrawn. 'file rebels at Vera- Crus are very savage. They hanged a man to the rafters of his own house when lie refused to give them money. They prolonged his life by lowering the body. They tortured two men at a neighboring ranch, and hanged a- dying boy. Dr James A. Wilson, formerly Sur-geon-General in General Madero’s army, escaped after two years with the rebel army, reaching his home at Sulsa, Oklahoma. Ho says that the rebels tear foreigners limb from limb by tying their legs to horses, and then starting the horses in opposite directions.
