Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VIII., Ttirangamii Survey District, Cook County. (L.S.) ISLINGTON, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block VIII., Turanganui Survey District : And whereas the Cook County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a- map, and also the statutory declaration as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, John Povnder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public- Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; aud I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

SCHEDULE.

All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated oil the plan marked and colored as above mentioned, and deposited i n the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District. Given under the hand of His f Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Comman-der-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under, the Seal of the said Dominion. at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and pwelve. / .
