STRANGE ADVENTURE OF MARK DEED. [PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, Sept. 13. A man named Mark Deed was found oil the foreshore last night in a dinghy. Ho was wet through and was removed to the hospital. Ho has given different accounts of an adventure, in which it appears that lie was accompanied by one or more persons, who were drowned or had no existence except in the man’s imagination. 'lndications are leading the police to question Deed’s statement that the dinghy capsized and that lie alone regained the boat. So far the police cannot trace any companions.
