SUICIDE WHILE TEMPORARILY INSANE. CHAMPION’S AMAZING EVIDENCE. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT] (Received Sept. 13. 11.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Kept. 15. Mrs Johnson is dead. Johnson, at the inquest, said that his wife iiad a nervous breakdown, due to nursing him when he was suffering from suicidal mania as a result of the injuries he received whqn fighting Jeffries. Johnson declared that he was still feeling the after-effects of the fight and his wife knew this and was greatly depressed. Johnson asserts that ho tried to choke himself to death on several occasions and his wife saved him. A verdict was returned of suicide when temporarily insane.
