Stormy westerly weather lias boon experienced generally but especially in the north and west coast districts. The barometer has continued very low in the south. Present indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, with a slight southerly teridency. After * about twenty hours heavy rain, probably on all the western coast, with rivers rising, and cloudy and unsettled weather with rain is probable generally. The barometer lias a falling tendency everywhere. There are indications for electrical disturbances.
