During his racing, career he won the Canterbury Cup in 1910, Vi miles, and finished second in the so me race in 1908 to Signor, who established a record, running the distance in 3.5 J 2-5. Diabolo aiso finished second to Bridge in the N.Z. Cup in 1910, when Bridge established the record for two miles of 3.25. MULTIFID is a good specimen of a sirellc is a beautiful dark bay with black points, stands 16 hands, and is a very evenly-made horse. He is the first sire. I believe, in the Poverty Bay district to produce a classical winner. Being sired by that great horse Multiform, the winner of £73SO in stakes, and his darn Heriot being by that great horse Grafton (one of the most successful sires imported to Australia! should speak for itself as regards the breeding of racehorses. Multifid's own performances on the turf are too well known to reuuire mentioning, as he has won races cer all distances on most of the courses in the Dominion.
