Won by half a length with one and a-halt lengths between second and third horses. Ten started. Allegory was fourth and acquitted himself veil. It was a great improvement on his previous performances. Ermengarde was last after showing fine pace in the early parts of the race. • The "starters in tho Roselull Handicap included Vice Admiral, Bronze, •Shuja. Alonoplane, Blakeney. 3 hero were 24 starters, and it was won by Eric. Rosehill Guineas, seven mrlengs.— Eurri 1, Aurifor 2, Cider 3. Fourteen starters. Won by a head. Time, 1.274. Rosehill Hurdles, 2 miles. —Paisano 1 Zim 2, Don Quex 3. Fifteen started. Won bv 4 lengths. Time: 3.52. [This is the first time Paisano has started in Australia, and- ho was most probably ridden by T. Jones, the wellknown local jockey. Apparently Paip.ano is very well, for he won with- the greatest of* ease according to the cablegram.]
