T ADIES and GENTLEMEN,— 1 bog to announce my candidature for tiie vacant seat on the Borough Council. lam not the nominee of any person or party, and if elected shall endeavor to do my duty without four or favor. Having resided in Gisborne all my life, any whole interests are identified with this district, and having previously served as one of your representatives on the Council, and always being interested in Council affairs, I claim to bo quite in touch with your requirements. lam of opinion that my services and practical experience will be valuable in procuring for you full value for any moneys that are to bo expended in the future.
