At the tallow sales 1546 casks were offered, and 1099 casks were sold. Mutton, fine, is .selling at 40s 9d per ewt; medium, -34 s 6d; beef , fine, 38s 9d; medium 33s Od. 'Wheat: The Balkan situation has had small effecton the market. Holders are firm, and there is a fair demand at full prices. 'l'he wool sales are animated for all sorts.
