The following are the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 2 ».m. each day:—

# [PEB- I BESS ASSOCIATION.] JPesent indications arc for northerly wWids, strong to a gale generally, and Jeering to southeasterly southwards of (Cape Egmont and Castle Point. After 'about 16 hours the weather is likely to prove unsettled and boisterous, with rain in most parts, hail, snow, and sleet on the high country in the south and rivers Hooded in the Southern districts. There are indications for electrical disturbances in parts. The barometer is unsteady, but a- rise will probably take place in Ahe south after about 16 hours.
