NOTES. The Union S. S. Co’s Tarawera arrived from tlie south Jan Saturday morning'. Among her cargo were 13 show sheep, 5 horses and 1 bull. Messrs Richardson and Co’s Kahu, Ripple, and Kuru arrived from the south on Saturday morning. They all returned to Wellington during the day. The Union S. S. Co’s Monowai, which was a day late going north on account of the Red Federation holiday at Lyttelton, left Auckland at 8.15 p.m. on Saturday. She called at Tokomaru Bay and arrived at Gisborne at about 9.15. She left for the south at about midnight. The Mokoia will arrive from the south on Wednesday. She will be tendered
